Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Coventry this September. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be committed to raising attainment, fostering a positive learning environment, and encouraging students to develop a genuine interest in Science.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiation of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
