EY MLD Teacher – Coventry

About the role:

Justteachers is looking for a compassionate and committed EY MLD Teacher to join a well-resourced and nurturing complex needs school in Coventry. This full-time position will begin in September 2026 and continue through the end of the academic year.

The school provides tailored education for students with significant and varied learning difficulties, many of whom have intricate medical or sensory needs. Dedicated to offering customised, stimulating, and impactful learning experiences, the school aims to nurture communication, independence, and overall wellbeing in its pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons to meet a wide range of learning and physical needs.
• Use a multi-sensory, therapeutic approach to create inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
• Work closely with a skilled team of support staff, therapists, and medical professionals.
• Support pupils with personal care and medical routines where required.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering atmosphere where every pupil can thrive.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching children with PMLD or complex needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Two education or school-based references.
