Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Member Support Services Team and work flexibly on a rota between the hours 8.00am – 6.30pm, according to the needs of the service.
- Provide advice, information and guidance to teachers on a wide range of matters relating to their employment and membership of the union, through a busy telephone advice line and via email.
Requirements
- Knowledge of employment law or teachers’ terms and conditions is essential.
- Commitment to the values and ethos of Trade Unions, outstanding member care skills, and experience of providing telephone advice and guidance within a legal or employment context.
- Experience of delivering telephone-based guidance in a professional setting.
Details
- Temporary Contract up to 12 months
- 24 hours per week, Monday – Thursday (6 hours per shift)
- Based in Rednal, Birmingham – Hybrid working
