Class 1 Driver – Liverpool

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver on behalf of a well‑known steel distributor based in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting steel products safely and efficiently
• Securing loads using ratchet straps
• Ensuring all loads are compliant with safety regulations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism on the road

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Cat CE) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 due to insurance purposes
• Knowledge of ratchet straps and load securing
• Reliable and professional attitude

Flatbed work

Monday- Friday 07:00 start times £15.60 per hour (PAYE)
