Term time only 38 weeks per year plus 5 inset days
30 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary £13.26 per hour. Actual salary £17,922 – £18,206 per annum pay award pending
Job Overview
The role of a Teaching Assistant involves supporting, facilitating, and developing student independence while ensuring our young people have full access to a broad and inclusive curriculum. This support is provided across the whole school site and in a variety of learning environments.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across all departments within the school, supporting students in a range of subjects and settings.
The Blandford School offers a rich and varied curriculum delivered by experienced and dedicated staff. While you will be overseen by the Learning Support Department, you will also be part of the wider school community.
Ongoing support and training will be provided both internally and through community partners to help you develop in your role and ensure the best outcomes for our young people.
