  • Supporting students with communication and interaction difficulties.
  • Assisting students in the use of resources including IT.
  • Maintaining students’ interests and motivation.
  • Supporting individuals and group work assigned by the Learning Manager.
  • Raising core skills.
  • Supporting student passports, including co‑production and reviews.
  • Being aware of pupils’ barriers to learning, achievements, progress and reporting to the Learning Manager as agreed.
  • Supervising and providing particular support for students, including those with special needs ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Establishing a constructive relationship with students and interacting according to individual needs.
  • Providing feedback to students in relation to progress and achievement.
  • Undertaking routine marking in line with school policy.
  • Designing and producing displays with minimal supervision.
  • Contributing information to pupil records (e.g., assessment information).
  • Working with parents to enhance students’ learning.
  • Liaising with parents as appropriate.
  • Supporting out‑of‑hours school learning activities and personal development experiences within established guidelines.
