Class 1 Drivers – Double-decked refrigerated trailers

Driver Hire Peterborough are currently recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers on behalf of a large and well-established local transport operator.

This role involves operating double-deck refrigerated trailers, completing deliveries and collections to major supermarket RDCs. We have day and night shifts available, including weekend work, with a variety of start times to suit different schedules.

The Role

• Completing Class 1 deliveries and collections
• Operating double-deck refrigerated trailers
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time
• Following all WTD and Drivers’ Hours regulations
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Good communication and timekeeping skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
