A supportive and inclusive Specialist School in Reading is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting children with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Assisting with behaviour management and emotional support strategies
- Supporting the development of communication and social skills
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
The ideal Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant will have a degree in Psychology (or a related field) and a strong interest in working with children with SEN.
