General Assistant (Aviation Catering)

About the Role

We are recruiting General Assistants (GA) for a leading aviation catering company based near Gatwick Airport. This is a fast-paced, production-driven environment supporting airline operations.

This role requires flexibility to work across multiple departments depending on business needs.

Shift Options

• Wash & Pack – 06:00 to 15:00
• Make & Pack – 07:00 to 16:00
• Pick & Pack – 06:00 to 15:00
• Stores – 06:00 to 15:00

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and packing airline food items
• Working on production lines (assembly, packing, washing)
• Supporting warehouse and stores operations
• Maintaining hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
• Handling stock and equipment as required

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and teamwork
• Flexible with duties and shifts
• Previous experience in warehouse, food production, or catering is beneficial but not essential
• Must be able to pass aviation security checks (5-year referencing & RTW)
