Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small team dealing with existing and lapsed customers to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships.
- Quote customers, advise on stock levels, give product advice, and suggest product ideas.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to existing customers.
- Liaise directly with suppliers in the UK and overseas to obtain pricing information.
- Coordinate with customers and other internal departments regarding any issues with customer orders.
- Update customers’ websites to include the product range.
- Analyse spreadsheets to monitor spend and product trends.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ideally experience in a similar sales administration, account manager or other business‑to‑business sales support or customer service role.
- Office‑based experience with a good phone manner is also acceptable.
- Comfortable working with Word, Excel and email.
- Proactive and takes ownership.
- Upbeat and outgoing character with a strong team focus and the ability to build relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of £27,000, rising to £28,000 after probation.
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 24 days.
