Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forward Tipping Dumper Operative to join our team on the high‑profile infrastructure project at the Ashington Station site.
Working alongside a team of civil engineers and groundworkers, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials across the site to support ongoing earthworks, drainage, and civil infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Forward Tipping Dumper in line with site speed limits and safety protocols.
- Transport muck, aggregates, and materials across the site as directed by the site management team.
- Conduct daily pre‑start vehicle checks and maintain accurate logs.
- Assist groundworkers and civil crews when the machine is idle.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including wearing correct PPE at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- CPCS or NPORS Card (Forward Tipping Dumper) is essential.
- Proven experience working on civil, infrastructure, or major earthworks sites.
- Full PPE (hard hat, high‑vis jacket/trousers, steel‑toe cap boots, gloves, and safety glasses).
- A strong, proactive commitment to site safety.
- Ability to provide recent, relevant work references.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
