Customer Service/Internal Sales

Overview

We are recruiting for a customer service/sales orientated individual to become fully conversant in export knowledge. The client is happy to train the individual as long as they are good at mathematics, possess outstanding customer service skills and are resilient.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop existing relationships with clients and maximise business potential whilst quoting air, road and sea freight quotations.
• Calculate prices and create tender submissions.
• Other duties related to export sales support, such as administrative tasks and maintaining client records.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong mathematical ability and outstanding customer service skills; resilience.
• Export sales experience preferred; alternatively strong customer service skills with tenacity to excel.
• Background in sales or account management is acceptable.
• Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

In return the company offers a thorough training programme, a salary up to £30,000 plus bonus opportunity of up to £5,000.
