What’s in it for you
- Meet new people and be part of a dynamic, inclusive team
- Build confidence
- Use existing skills or gain new ones
- Reasonable pre‑agreed travel expenses for the role, including training
- Be part of the world’s largest humanitarian organisation and make a positive difference to people’s lives
Diversity is something we celebrate. We want you to be able to bring your authentic self to the Red Cross and feel like you belong. We welcome refugees, asylum seekers, and others who are currently in the UK to volunteer with us. We create an inclusive environment and promote the power of kindness.
Health and Safety Statement
We take an individual approach to ensuring your safety. We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment and discuss any adjustments you may need. Some locations may not be able to host volunteers aged 15‑17; please get in touch to find a suitable opportunity.
Our volunteers are expected to commit at least a few hours a week with flexible scheduling. There is no minimum number of hours or requirement to use a till or computer.
Enjoy the rewards of volunteering with us and the opportunity to help our community.
