Overview
A warm and welcoming family based in Cobham is seeking an experienced Live-In Housekeeper to join them on a long-term basis.
Their current housekeeper has been with the family for six years and is moving on in September, following the natural evolution of the role as the children have grown older. The family has greatly valued this long-standing relationship and is now looking for someone who is seeking a similarly long-term position where they can become a trusted and valued part of family life.
The family lives in a large but informal home with four bedrooms in regular use, five bathrooms, an outdoor swimming pool and a home gym. They describe their household as relaxed, welcoming and down-to-earth.
This is a hands‑on housekeeping role within a busy family home. While there is some involvement with the family’s youngest child, particularly before and after school, the position is primarily focused on housekeeping, laundry, family cooking and helping ensure the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
The family is looking for someone who is warm, calm and emotionally intelligent, with a positive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of the role.
This position would suit someone looking for stability, consistency and the opportunity to build a long-term working relationship with a warm and appreciative family.
