- Wed: 14:45:00–23:00:00
- Thu: 17:30:00–23:00:00
- Sat: 08:30:00–13:00:00
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you may work fewer hours (minimum 12). Please reach out if you’re interested.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have three weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We support flexibility so if the times you are available to work closely match the advertised windows we would still welcome your application.

- Be knowledgeable about your store’s performance, understanding your role and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow our policies.
- At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
- Be passionate about delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
- Build rapport with customers so they leave the store having had a great shopping experience.
