Food and Beverage Assistant – Bank

Overview

Role: Food and Beverage Team Member – Bank at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, Surrey (Avery Healthcare).

Shift options: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM, 07:30 AM – 07:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
• Assist residents in choosing their meal options when dining.
• Set dining tables following standard operating procedures; maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruit options are available and replenished in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene; previous experience in a similar setting is beneficial.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate advantageous.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills; compassionate and dedicated approach.
