Flame Health’s Optometry Division is recruiting for a GOC registered Optometrist to join a high‑quality independent optical group within the North East London area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist seeking a flexible part‑time role within a professional and patient‑focused environment where clinical standards, customer care and long‑term career development are genuinely prioritised. The organisation has developed a strong reputation for combining advanced clinical technology with a personalised and premium patient experience.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of a collaborative clinical team, delivering comprehensive eye examinations and building long‑term patient relationships through outstanding communication and care. The role requires working closely with management and retail teams to support the overall patient journey while maintaining the highest clinical standards throughout the practice.

Testing times are set at 30 minutes, allowing the opportunity to fully understand patient needs, conduct detailed eye health assessments and provide tailored clinical recommendations. Practices are equipped with modern diagnostic technology to support accurate clinical decision‑making and enhanced patient outcomes.

This role suits an Optometrist who enjoys working within a supportive and progressive environment and who values both clinical quality and customer experience. The business actively supports professional growth and internal progression, with wider opportunities available across the organisation for those seeking long‑term career development.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, GOC registered, with strong communication skills, excellent clinical standards and a patient‑first approach. Candidates should be motivated, commercially aware and confident building patient rapport in a fast‑paced but supportive setting.

In return, the role offers a competitive salary package up to £60,000 FTE, paid travel expenses, flexible working structure and the opportunity to join a respected independent optical organisation with an excellent team culture.
