Senior Project Manager – Worcester Royal Hospital

Equans is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on a 24‑month fixed term contract basis. This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week. Compensation includes a competitive salary, car allowance, and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Manage the site delivery of all major fabric & M&E variation projects, overseeing design, contract management, financial management, H&S, site management, snagging and hangover.
  • Support the EQUANS projects team, ensuring the projects function is fully supported, working alongside Site Manager, Project Coordinator, and other Project Managers.
  • Take ownership of all major projects with commercial, financial or H&S risk, including NHS CAPEX projects or wider EQUANS business activities.
  • Implement works to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to a high standard from inception to final account.
  • Manage the project pipeline in accordance with contractual KPI requirements and internal governance processes.

Who are you?

  • Experience operating in the public and/or private FM sector with a demonstrable track record of directly managing fabric & M&E project works within a large and complex estate, preferably in healthcare.
  • High level of verbal, written and numeric skills; computer literate with knowledge of CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of local authority legislation, planning applications, fire and building regulations approvals.
  • Sound knowledge of building and engineering services design and associated British Standards.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Act, Construction Design and Management Regulations and related statutory requirements.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a building/construction/engineering discipline (Desirable).
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) (Desirable).
  • Experience with CDM, Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Building Safety Act requirements (Desirable).

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check; ability to pass is essential.
