Investment Banking Associate – Technology M&A

An independent advisory firm is looking to hire an Associate to join its London office.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of M&A transactions across technology-enabled sectors, working closely with senior bankers, founders, private equity investors, and corporate clients on both sell-side and buy-side mandates.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions from origination through completion
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare marketing materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and investor documentation
• Conduct industry, company, and competitive landscape research
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with clients and counterparties
• Assist in developing relationships with entrepreneurs, management teams, investors, and strategic acquirers
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client pitches

Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a related field
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and managing multiple workstreams
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong academic background
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a dynamic, client-facing environment
