Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) – Commercial Building – City of London – £35,000 – £40,000

An opportunity has arisen with CBW Staffing Solutions to join an established building services company based in the City of London. The Junior Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the senior member of the maintenance team on site to gain experience and training in building services.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
• Overtime available
• Further training

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests
• Plant room maintenance
• Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing – Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements

• Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Hard working attitude
• Good communication skills
• Client facing
