Lead Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop testing framework.
• Plan test automation.
• Develop test scripts according to company-defined standards.
• Handle automation test on a project single-handedly.
• Support creation and enhancement of in-house tools.
• Execute automated tests for various systems such as PSCAD and MATLAB.
• Communicate failure details to relevant engineering functions.
• Execute tests and provide clear reporting of results.
• Seek automation opportunities using the automation platform.
• Support continual improvement by introducing tools, methods, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent including power systems and power electronics subjects, or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVDC business.
• Significant experience in handling automation test across any industry.
• Experience with test frameworks involved in testing of embedded systems.
• Experience in technical leadership with ability to manage a team of ATE engineers.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel to support projects globally and readiness for flexible working hours.
