Location Hybrid – one Stockport Family Hub, various bases/schools across Stockport and some homeworking.
Role Overview As a Family Help Intervention Worker within our Family Help Team, you will provide effective interventions, both one to one and through group work with children and families. You will support families at an early help level. The focus of the family help offer is to ensure that families receive the right support, at the right time and children reach optimal development.
Key responsibilities Provide one-to-one and group interventions with children and families. Use evidence-based programmes to promote positive behaviour change. Work collaboratively with parents, children, young people and other professionals. Support families at early help level. Ensure children reach optimal development.
Qualifications Experience working with children and families, demonstrating empathy and building positive relationships to support effective change. Experience facilitating evidence-based programmes with parents, children, young people to achieve positive behaviour change. Passion and commitment to improving outcomes for Children and Families. Willingness to commit to professional development.
