Service Leader for MASSH and OOH (Multi‑agency safeguarding and support hub and out of hours)
Salary: MB2 (£59,395 – £67,990). Hours: 37 hours Full‑time. Temporary (maternity leave cover until 31st July 2027). Hybrid: Stopford House and homeworking.
Your Role
Provide strategic and operational oversight of the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding and Support Hub (MASSH) and Out of Hours services to ensure children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time. Drive continuous improvement, champion the voice of children and families, and ensure services are safe, effective, evidence‑based and responsive to need. Lead integrated practice across agencies, manage quality assurance, performance, workforce leadership and inspection readiness within a restorative, multi‑agency model.
About You
Passionate about relationship‑based work with children and families and proud of your social work profession. Able to reflect and think strategically to build relationships and make a difference.
Experienced reviewing performance, quality assurance and associated action planning to improve service delivery and activity.
Highly experienced leader who has led or coached staff within children services, including offering supervision and support to practitioners.
Committed to professional development, eager to take up learning opportunities and excited to be part of Stockport Family as a Service Leader.
