LINES is the go-to for going out. We connect over 500,000 people across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and London (may have seen us as London Lines on Instagram or TikTok) through real-time coverage, city-based communities, and curated event discovery. Our app shows people the best places to go right now: live video from inside venues, line ETAs, what’s on, event and pop-up announces and exclusive deals like free entry and ticket offers.
With over 100,000 monthly users, LINES is one of the most influential platforms for young people deciding where to go out and discovering music and events in Australia and the UK. London is our newest market and this is a foundational hire – you’ll shape how we win the city.
The role in one line: Sell LINES partnerships to London venues (pubs, bars, nightclubs) and event promoters. You own the revenue number.
Please read this before applying, to save your time and ours. We are hiring for a very specific profile.
Do not apply if:
- You have never sold to London venues or promoters. We need someone with an existing book of on-trade contacts: venue managers, GMs, promoters, who can start calling people they already know in week one. If you’d be building a contact list from scratch, this isn’t the role for you.
- You can’t name specific sales targets you’ve beaten, with numbers. “Involved in growing revenue” doesn’t count. We will ask: what was the target, what did you hit, how.
- You need structure to perform. We are a small team and only just launched London. You need to be able to build your own pipeline and run your own diary. If your best work happened inside a large company’s systems, or you are not intrinsically motivated, this will frustrate you.
- You don’t go out. If you’re not already in pubs, bars, clubs, and at events regularly, and don’t want to be, you won’t be credible with the people you’re selling to.
- You’re looking for a stepping stone to a corporate role. We’re a startup. The upside is ownership and direct impact on the business; the trade-off is fewer resources and more ambiguity.
The profile we want:
- Experience selling to our clients. For example, an on-premise/on-trade sales role for a drinks or hospitality-adjacent brand (an alcohol, ticketing or hospitality platform) selling into London venues or event promoters.
- A contact book you can activate immediately.
- A track record of beating revenue KPIs, with real numbers you can walk us through.
- Genuine interest in nightlife, music, and going-out culture. You know the London scene because you’re part of it.
What you’ll do:
- Own revenue from London venue and promoter partnerships. This is the KPI you’re measured on.
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, onboarding, and managing the relationship after the deal.
- Build pipeline from your existing network and from being out in the scene. Meetings happen in venues, not just on calls.
- Put together partnership proposals that make commercial sense for the venue and fit our brand and community.
- Make sure campaigns get delivered and partners see results, so they renew and refer.
- Represent LINES on the ground: at venues, at events, with promoters.

Location: The Ministry, Borough. Hybrid (field + office)
Pay: £35,000-£50,000 base depending on experience, plus uncapped commission tied to partnership revenue. On-target earnings £55,000-£70,000. If you’re an exceptional fit above this range, talk to us.
