Multi Skilled Engineer / Shift Engineer

Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Salary: £44,000 – £46,000 per annum, plus benefits and career growth opportunities Hours: Rotating shift pattern of 06:00am – 14:00pm, 14:00pm – 22:00pm, and 22:00pm – 06:00am Location: We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a large international company at one of their leading factories. The Role Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager this is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced environment as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will provide support in relation to all maintenance tasks and projects being undertaken, including day to day machinery breakdowns, PPMs, equipment upgrades, new installations, and general facilities. Working closely with the Engineer on the opposite shift to ensure all handover of ongoing activities is carried out every day, sharing all other information and practices as required.Providing knowledge and input into continuous improvement of plant, machinery, and maintenance activities.Working with Engineering colleagues and Engineering Manager to identify long running problems and suitable solutions.Undertaking repairs to equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring that production is constantly updated on progress.Undertaking remedial engineering works to equipment or site as instructed by the Engineering Manager.Maintaining excellent communication between Production staff and co-workers.Preferred Skills & Experience A recognised qualification relevant to the role (e.g. mechanical or electrical C&G).Skills in both Electrical and Mechanical trades: Apprenticeship trained preferableElectrical Installation MaintenanceMechanical Fabrication/MaintenanceElectronic fault finding to component levelPreferred knowledge of other engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems Electrical Installation 18th Edition.Excellent verbal and written English communication skillsIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Vicky at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered….
