Job Title: Senior Project Manager

With a turnover of over £100 million, one of the UK’s leading Fit‑out/Refurbishment Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This Main Contractor is looking for a No.1 Project Manager who can lead the team and deliver the project to the client’s requirements and expectations on a 2 Stage tender basis on projects ranging between £10- £20 million. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Cut & Carve Refurbishment with structural alterations.
Key Duties
- Preconstruction
- Programming responsibility from contract programme onwards: design and build
- Site set up and strategy including logistics
- Planning
- 2 stage tender process
- Running the job as a number 1
- Daily site management and Progress reporting weekly
- Check contractors RAMS for approval, Tickets records and allocate inductions.
- Costing, Budgeting
- Check and Approve Benchmarks from contractors
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgets
Qualifications
Ideal candidate must have previous experience in Project Management within Cut & Carve/Refurbishment, must be ambitious, dynamic and client facing, and must be able to travel to and fro site in the City of London.
Must have CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS & FIRST Aid Site certifications.
