Job Description
Beckett Careers are seeking a proactive and collaborative Leeds Beckett graduate to join our Infrastructure & Partnerships team in an 18‑month internship in Employability Engagement & Outreach. This role will contribute significantly to promoting the Beckett Careers offer to key stakeholders including students, graduates, academics and employers.
Applicants must be 2025/26 graduates of Leeds Beckett University and have the right to work in the UK. Due to UKVI minimum salary thresholds, this post will not qualify for university sponsorship for the Skilled Worker visa route.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging written communications such as newsletters and LinkedIn posts, and produce video content including Instagram reels.
- Support service engagement activities with students and graduates in physical careers spaces across City and Headingley campuses.
- Develop and enhance the digital careers offer to maximise engagement.
- Contribute to a coordinated, service‑wide communications plan, producing impactful communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Increase the visibility of the service to relevant audiences and support the wider Beckett Careers service.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduating from Leeds Beckett University in 2025 or 2026.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Strong communication skills in both written and visual media.
- Creative, collaborative, problem‑solving, and team‑working abilities.
