Overview
Join Nottingham City Council Housing Services as an Energy Project Liaison Officer within our Sustainable Energy Team, where you will play a key role in supporting residents through energy improvement projects. Acting as a trusted first point of contact, you will provide clear, accessible information, coordinate enquiries, and ensure customers feel informed and supported throughout project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, tenants and leaseholders.
- Coordinate and manage enquiries, access and refusals.
- Lead consultations, attend events and conduct site visits.
- Collaborate with contractors, internal teams and other stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor liaison performance and coordinate project communications.
- Analyse data, prepare reports and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a pressurised environment, demonstrating initiative and managing competing priorities.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Analytical skills using IT systems (including Microsoft Office) to produce clear, concise reports and support decision‑making.
- Experience or ability to contribute to service improvement and deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused outcomes.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to support tenants, leaseholders and services to achieve positive outcomes.

Location
The contracted base is Harvey Road (NG8 3BB). The post holder will be expected to travel to Loxley House (NG2 3NG) and work sites as required.
