Service Manager – Network Management

Highways Network Manager

Lead and manage all aspects of Highways Network Management across the Borough, developing the Network Management Plan, shaping policy and service objectives, and ensuring the effective operation of the network in line with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Network Management Plan.
• Shape policy and service objectives for the highway network.
• Ensure effective operation in line with statutory requirements.
• Oversee service performance and lead staff and contract management.
• Drive improvements in systems, customer service, and operational delivery.
• Work closely with senior leadership to maintain a safe, efficient, well‑managed highway network.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Fluent in English (required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
• Experience in highway or infrastructure network management.
• Leadership and contract management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Borough and access to a car for site visits.
