We are looking for a fixed‑term contract Time and Attendance System Analyst to be based at our Capenhurst site. You will provide comprehensive support for the Time and Attendance system, from initial implementation to successful ongoing adoption. The role contributes to smooth operations, informs senior management on hours worked, accurate payroll management and activity costings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pragmatic and useful advice, guidance and support to the Time and Attendance process, working with the Time and Attendance Manager.
  • System development and maintenance.
  • Reporting including time, job costing, absence and holidays.
  • Communications.
  • Process and training development, amendment, roll‑out.
  • Continuous improvement of all above.
  • Support the development and implementation of solutions that are fit for purpose, take the best from internal and external working, ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and company policy standards, and are practical for Capenhurst.
  • Day‑to‑day coordination and support to Time and Attendance System deliverables – scheduling briefings, focus groups and workshops, collating feedback, producing summary insights and driving actions and improvements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities and share best practices across Time and Attendance systems.
  • Maintain delivery plans, system risk assessments and status reports to support management of the Time and Attendance business system and reporting.
  • Drive change, providing a positive influence across Capenhurst in terms of Time and Attendance standards and behaviours; identify business risks and barriers to adoption and manage mitigations.
  • Support the development of clear roles and responsibilities for users, managers, project managers, departmental administrators, etc., including knowledge transfer, reinforcement, and ongoing ownership and monitoring of successful role delivery.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualification desirable but not essential; equivalent relevant experience and skills can be demonstrated.
  • Experience working with and administering business‑critical systems such as SAP.
  • Experience influencing across different levels of the organisation, including department managers and the wider workforce.
  • Experience working at and across the Capenhurst Site with an understanding of the ways of working and current challenges.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and report necessary data to stakeholders.
  • Experience acting as a liaison with the business to achieve cultural improvements, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the system and maintaining stakeholder confidence and engagement.
