Job Overview

Superdrug Head Office, Croydon, United Kingdom – hybrid working (2 days work‑from‑home, 3 days office). Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, 09:00‑17:30. Salary: Competitive.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Group Manager of European Finance Systems.
  • Maintaining effective support to EU Finance functions, liaising across IT functions and external partners on issue resolution.
  • Delivering support services that meet or exceed agreed KPIs.
  • Providing support for UK Business Units on local Finance applications (Bottomline for invoices, Accurate for bank reconciliation, Experian PTX for payments).
  • Coordinating the provision of financial reports and analysis through the EU Finance management team and supporting staff; managing delivery to Corporate Finance.
  • Managing acceptance of projects into Business‑as‑Usual support.
  • Ensuring European Finance Systems are audit compliant.
  • Generating customer‑focused initiatives aligned with finance strategy and driving execution; listening to customers and introducing new ideas to improve service in both online and offline channels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experienced IT professional with a history of supporting multicounty implementations of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.
  • 5+ years supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 and experience responding to technical incidents.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Forms Personalisation; good knowledge of Oracle Applications Development Standards.
  • Ability to discuss functional issues with users and a good level of understanding of finance system processes (GL, P2P, AR, FA).
  • Experience in ITIL‑based support environment (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience of working in a European environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Support of other finance systems such as Bottomline, Accurate, Experian.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively and critically.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience coordinating with external partners and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, positive can‑do attitude, self‑starter.
  • Leadership ability in managing a team and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience with B2B integrations and reporting tools.
