Credit Controller (Chinese Speaking, £30K, Oil and Gas, Crawley)

The firm finds, procures, and supplies a varied range of items across various sectors to meet client demands. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Credit Controller to support routine financial activities in our Crawley-based oil and gas company.

Qualifications and Experience

• GCSE qualification with a pass in Mathematics at grade C or above.
• International credit control knowledge.
• Experience in credit control within a commercial setting, including dealing with challenging clients to collect overdue payments.
• Understanding of INCO.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience (preferred).
• Bilingual with proficiency in Chinese.
• Computer literate and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Outstanding numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone manner and the ability to establish working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• A customer‑centred problem‑solving approach.
• A proactive and professional attitude towards credit control, with the ability to address challenges and concerns politely.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial data.Understanding of the Sage system.
• Previous position in an SME finance department.
• Application knowledge of financial and non‑financial software applications.
• Working knowledge of month‑end reporting and processes.
