Registered Nursing Home Manager – Family-Run Nursing Home
Location: Dover
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized nursing home in Dover. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, family-run provider with a growing portfolio of homes and strong operational support in place.
The home is currently rated GOOD by the CQC and has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home continues to deliver outstanding care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
- Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team
- Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
- Support occupancy growth and oversee assessments for prospective residents
- Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home
Requirements
- Experience managing within a nursing home setting
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- Adaptable, resilient, and hands-on approach
- A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
- Nurse qualification not essential
