Clinical Lead Nurse

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing care delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for our clients. Adhere to and uphold the NMC Professional Code of Conduct always.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of day-to-day care package delivery
• Deliver specialist training to new and existing staff to maintain high clinical standards
• Attend client reviews as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a strong client advocate
• Review and amend care plans and emergency procedures as required
• Completely monthly clinical visits
• Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medical and clinical support
• Monitor delivery of care, including infection prevention and control procedures, e.g. wound care, catheter management; and ensure high standards are maintained
• Provide support in relation to medicines management and be able to assess staff competency to manage medication

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse (essential)
• Experience in complex care or community-based care desirable
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Organised, proactive, and adaptable
• Passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care

Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 per year
