Field Service Engineer – Scientific & Industrial Laboratory Equipment
Location: Worcester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Great Malvern.
Salary: £42 K – £48 K + 10 % Bonus (earnings from £46 K up to £53 K) + car + excellent benefits package.
NO LABORATORY EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; FULL TRAINING PROVIDED FOR FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERS FROM A RANGE OF BACKGROUNDS.

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of leading‑edge instrumentation at customer sites throughout the region. This is a home‑based role with travel to customer sites. Your focus will be on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
- A qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, general Engineering or Science.
- Experience working in a customer‑facing field‑service role, or an ex‑HM Forces Engineer looking for a first move into field service.
- Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing high‑value capital equipment.
Full and comprehensive product training will be provided, so applicants are welcome from a broad array of backgrounds and industry sectors.
