As a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicle wash systems, the company is actively seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to work with clients based in and around the Swindon/Berkshire area. Based from home, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining vehicle wash systems and associated equipment, working to SLAs, and providing technical support.
Although previous experience with Vehicle Wash Systems would be helpful, this is not required as the company is committed to providing full training and development for the right individual.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Solid background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, ideally qualified to City and Guilds level.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, adept at fault‑finding to the component level and ensuring systems operate at peak performance.
- Manage stock holding at the local storage facility, if required in your area, to ensure smooth operations.
- Adaptability to work independently or as part of a team, thriving in diverse environments.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Familiar with travelling to fulfil responsibilities and occasional overnight stays away from home.
- Flexible hours, prepared for occasional early starts and late finishes as needed to meet commitments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary £40,000 – £42,000 DOE, reviewed upon completion of probationary period.
