About the Graduate Programme

Do you see yourself in a graduate role? Salary: Base salary of £30,000 plus Veolia Benefits Package. Location: Hatton, near Arbroath, Scotland, DD11 2PJ (First Rotation). Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday.

Programme Duration and Schedule

Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting September 2026. This is a rotational role and you will be expected to rotate across different sites and locations in Scotland.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the project team to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Providing support to construction and operations teams for current projects
  • Developing, preparing, and maintaining construction documentation and project plans
  • Identifying, assessing, and monitoring project risks while creating comprehensive mitigation strategies
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Performing technical analysis and system performance evaluations to ensure optimal operational efficiency
  • Assisting with day-to-day operational activities and providing project support as needed
  • Contributing to organisational excellence by participating in continuous improvement initiatives for internal procedures and processes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree‑level qualification in Environmental or Engineering (to be achieved by September 2026)
  • Requirement to travel to training locations and relocate up to 3 times across Scotland during the Graduate Programme
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • An enthusiastic, creative and solution‑oriented thinker
  • Driving Licence (or willingness to obtain one)

Conditions

This role is rotational and requires travel to training locations and relocation up to three times across Scotland during the programme. Monthly training sessions will be held at North sites and Cannock office (travel required).
