Quality Engineer – Christchurch – Up to £52,000

Responsibilities
- Maintaining AS9100 and ISO9001 quality system requirements across the business, including inspection activities
- Reviewing and auditing operating procedures to ensure effectiveness and compliance, producing associated reports
- Championing continuous improvement activity and identifying potential areas for improvement across manufacturing
- Releasing conforming product in line with customer requirements, including Certificates of Conformance
- Participating in new product introduction (NPI), development projects, and failure investigations
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer, ideally within aerospace
- Solid working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
- Knowledge of sheet metal, composites, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing methods
- HNC or HND qualified, or time‑served with a recognised apprenticeship
