Are you an Agricultural Engineer or similar looking to join a growing machinery dealership where your time is split between field and workshop, with manufacturer-led training, a fully equipped van for personal use, and clear progression opportunities?

A well-established, family-run agricultural engineering and machinery business providing sales, servicing and repair solutions across Cheshire and surrounding regions. Operating as both a machinery supplier and field service specialist, the business supports the farming sector with a range of leading agricultural equipment brands, alongside specialist expertise in key tractor and loader machinery. The team delivers workshop and on-farm engineering support, from routine maintenance and breakdown response through to pre-delivery inspections and technical support for customers and the wider sales function.

In this role, you will carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of agricultural machinery, both in the workshop and on customer farms across Cheshire and surrounding regions. You will diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults, complete pre-delivery inspections on new equipment, and respond to breakdowns efficiently and professionally. Working independently and as part of a close-knit team, you will ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidance.

This role would suit an Agricultural Engineer or similar with experience in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery, looking to join a growing dealership with a mix of field and workshop work and strong fault-finding skills.

The role

  • Service, repair and maintain a range of agricultural machinery in workshop and field environments
  • Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs on farm
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections on new machinery prior to customer delivery
  • Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely, professional on-site support

The Person

  • Experience in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery, tractors or similar equipment
  • Ability to work independently in both field and workshop environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable to Sandbach
