Responsibilities

  • Provide searchroom and enquiry services, assisting researchers with identifying and accessing archival materials.
  • Work on collections projects, including listing and digitising records.
  • Participate in occasional engagement activities.
  • Support the team in maintaining the daily operation of the searchroom, including cleaning and organising collections.
  • Work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; occasional Saturdays, evenings and public holidays may be required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the value of archival sources for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in archival or library services is desirable.
