Regional Service Manager – Multi Site – Commercial Maintenance – Gillingham – up to 75k+car

We are one of South East’s leading M&E contractors. We are looking for a Regional Service Manager who has experience managing multi-site maintenance contracts.

This role is based at our Gillingham office, with travel to client sites across London, Kent and Essex. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure client satisfaction levels are constantly high, leading to development of the contract to increase responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership and governance to the operations managers, who retain day‑to‑day technical responsibility for engineering teams.
  • Provide technical M&E support to the teams.
  • Ensure contractual levels are obtained and superseded, maintaining and demonstrating an in‑depth knowledge of the contract during internal monthly contractual review meetings with senior management.
  • Ensure contractual KPIs/SLAs are met.
  • Ensure effective delivery of planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and small works.
  • Attend strategic contractual/operational meetings with the client weekly or as required.
  • Ensure successful completion of all reactive and PPM works orders, ensuring timely completion and close‑out, meeting KPIs and SLAs as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and management to the site team as necessary.
  • Hold regional P&L responsibility and deliver agreed revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

  • Recognised apprenticeship and fully electrically or mechanically qualified to recognised level (e.g. C&G, HNC/HND).
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&E building services, including Electrical, HVAC, Gas, Fire, Water, and Decarbonisation systems.
  • Proven experience and involvement in managing multi‑site maintenance businesses.
  • Strong, committed team player capable of prioritising and solving problems under pressure, utilising innovative solutions.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, labour productivity and margin management.
  • Team‑player committed to working in a quality and professional environment.
  • Strong people‑management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
