Personal Specification

Requirements

  • Successful registration with Ofsted
  • At least 2 years experience leading, supervising and managing a team of staff
  • Level 5 diploma in Leadership & Management completed, or enrolment to achieve within an agreed timeframe

What You’ll Do

  • Regularly monitor delivery of care by all staff ensuring physical, social, psychological and emotional needs of young people are recognised, assessed and met
  • Follow admission policy and procedures and conduct pre‑admission assessment/matching for all potential young people when managing referrals, with support and guidance from area manager/referrals and placements manager
  • Ensure young people are supported in stressful situations, crisis or emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Manage storage, handling and administration of medications, finances and petty cash in the home
  • Carry out duties of “Responsible Individual” and ensure statutory obligations and relevant legislation (environmental health, health & safety, fire regulations) are complied with
