HVAC Recruitment has been exclusively retained to appoint a Transformation Director on behalf of a leading UK Facilities Management organisation.
This is a newly created executive position and represents a unique opportunity to design, lead and deliver the transformation strategy for a growing FM business with ambitious expansion plans.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in modernising systems, improving operational efficiency, embedding scalable processes and ensuring the business is equipped to support significant future growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for assessing the current operating model, identifying opportunities for improvement and creating a clear transformation roadmap that supports both operational excellence and long-term business growth.
This is not a pure IT transformation role.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of operational, commercial, digital and strategic expertise gained within Facilities Management, Technical Services or Building Services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the business transformation strategy
- Improve operational efficiency and service delivery models
- Drive digital transformation and systems integration initiatives
- Review and enhance processes across multiple business functions
- Support growth through scalable structures, systems and governance
- Introduce performance frameworks, reporting and continuous improvement programmes
- Collaborate with operational leaders and support functions across the business
- Ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable commercial and operational benefits
About You
We are interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Senior leadership experience within Facilities Management
- Strong understanding of Hard FM, Technical Services or TFM environments
- Experience leading business transformation, operational improvement or organisational change programmes
- Knowledge of CAFM systems, digital technologies and process optimisation
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
- A strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on approach
- Experience working closely with executive teams and boards
Suitable backgrounds may include Transformation Director, Business Improvement Director, COO, Operations Director, Managing Director or similar executive-level leadership positions.
