Job Description:

Alchemy has partnered with an established London based gallery who are looking to bring on an Operations Coordinator to their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate artwork and display requirements for appointments, exhibitions, and gallery presentations.
  • Manage stock movements, inventory records, and artwork condition checks.
  • Oversee logistics for UK and international shipments, installations, deliveries, and collections.
  • Liaise with suppliers, artists’ studios, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Track operational issues and ensure processes are followed accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and wider department.
  • Research new suppliers and contribute to process improvements and operations.
  • Collaboration across departments.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or operations within a gallery, auction house, museum, or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing inventory and records.
  • Proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
