We’re working with brilliant specialist schools supporting children and young people with autism, complex needs, and communication differences. You could be working in a warm, supportive team of people who genuinely care about helping pupils thrive.

The Role

You will work closely with pupils who have a wide range of additional needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, sensory needs, behavioural and social differences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
  • Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupilContributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
  • Help in managing challenging behaviours positively and professionally
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide appropriate support

Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential, what matters most for this role is a genuine passion for supporting children, particularly those with special educational needs, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to a long-term placement.
