What you’ll do:The Assembler Tester’s main purpose is to assemble and test Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Fuel Valves, Couplings and other equipment, ensuring parts are produced within specific cycle times to Aerospace quality standards and meets fit, form and function.Essential Functions:Observe Health & Safety and COSHH proceduresAssembling in conjunction with engineering drawings and company procedures including drilling and lockingFollow production acceptance test schedules using a variety of test media’s including oil, water, Kerosene and SkydrolAccurately complete paperwork including test reportCross training available to cover all functions of teamSupport team with investigations and problem-solving exercisesAbility to work on own or with minimal supervisionAbility to flex hours and between functions to suit production needsApplication of lean principles/tools/seven wastes etc.Qualifications:Skills:Experience of assembly including drilling and fitting skills advantageousExperience of using engineering drawings and associated terminologyPrevious experience in a similar Aerospace environment advantageousConversant with Basic Measurement Techniques and using appropriate measurement equipmentKnowledge of LEAN processesReasonable level of computer literacyEngineering Apprenticeship preferredGCSE or equivalent in English and Math’s preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr…
