Design Draughtsperson

Location: Hucknall, NottinghamshirePosition: PermanentSalary: £35,000 to £40,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Design Draughtsman to join our expanding Design department.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing and established company located in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.The successful candidate must be proficient in solid works ideally and inventor at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Have an understanding of the fabrication process in order to prepare clear and accurate manufacturing drawings for order processing.
• Issue designs and drawings for approval
• Have an understanding of site installation process to produce and issue installation drawings
• Coordinate approvals and customers instructions to manufacture.
• Liaising with clients, structural engineers, architects and fabricator.
• Raising RFIs for missing information.
• Noting changes in design information and raising variation of services.

Required

• ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in a building or construction related subject
• 3-4 years experience of working within Architectural metalwork related / staircase manufacturing organisation (note sufficient experience can supersede formal qualification)
• SolidWorks (3D) experience (Highly Desirable)
• AutoDesk Inventor Software (Desirable)
• Ability to follow and elaborate/create production drawings and templates
