Position

Title: Service Technician

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Saturday rota: 1 in 4, 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Training and development will include manufacturer (Ford) and in-house training, with clear pathways delivered through Ford’s state-of-the-art training hub.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and service checks on Ford and other makes.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Produce reports on vehicle health and condition using an electronic health check system and following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Communicate technical issues to customers via intuitive video software and face-to-face interactions.
  • Work efficiently and safely in line with in-house processes and standards.
  • Adapt to changing guidelines.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within the automotive or engineering sector.
  • Previous experience in a vehicle workshop.
  • Ability to perform work methodically and safely.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Full driving licence.
  • MOT qualification advantageous but not essential.
