Fabricator / Welder

We are recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for our client located in York.

Duties

• Welding and fabricating components for heavy machinery
• MiG welding
• General workshop duties
• Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding methods and techniques. Inspect welded joints and completed work to ensure quality compliance and structural integrity
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with all health and safety protocols
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines
• Assist with troubleshooting welding processes, techniques, and equipment issues as required
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a Welding role
• Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
• Mechanical knowledge

Hours

Days: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm (12-minute unpaid break at 10am & 30 minutes unpaid lunch at 1:30pm).

Friday 6am – 2:30pm (12-minute unpaid break at 10am).

Pay
