The role of Accounts Receivable Assistant:

  • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received as per agreed terms
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain accurate financial records and update the accounting system regularly
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments professionally
  • Credit control via phone and email
  • Support the accounting and finance team with additional tasks as needed

The ideal Accounts Receivable Assistant:

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting and finance role (suitable for juniors looking to start their finance career)
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
